Demotivators

I hope everyone is enjoying (or enjoyed depending on when you read this) the uplifting and informative talks at General Conference.  Here's your weekly dose of demotivation to counter the massive amount of motivation most likely received from Conference (thus setting the world back in balance).

(I removed a photo of a redneck flipping the bird.... Sincerely, Dave the censor.)

This one is to express my disappointment at the resolution of the NFL referee lockout...I found it much more entertaining with the replacements because there were a lot of great jokes and comedy bits that came out of that.

This is one I just found recently, but it was so great that I had to push it to the top of the pile and post it here.

It was so fun to have the Enniss Family come to visit!  Here are several pics taken mostly by Shea, some by Ben, and gathered by me (Marinda).

We set up the blow up mattress for Em and Natalie, but C was not about to be left out!  She insisted on sleeping with them every night.  They would stay up late laughing and giggling and then wake up super early all pumped to start the day.  Yeah, there were several mornings we just turned on Tangled for them while we went back to bed since we, the adults, were up so late every night talking too!

Wish my camera was better quality!

A visit to Point Lobos

My favorite picture

Garrapata Beach

No, that is not the default computer screen saver, it's a pic taken by Shea!

And of course no trip is complete without a visit to Dennis the Menace Park

Love Jack's face here

And the aquarium

If you haven't been able to tell already, the girls had a blast together:

And I'll let this picture speak for itself

Jack's Hulk Rage Expression

Jack received a nasty bump on the head yesterday, when I went to document the bruise that evening, Jack delighted us with a hilarious (and terrifying) facial expression.

No theme or clever introduction this week, I will just get into this week's helping of demotivators...enjoy.

I wonder what the dorks in that Zebra costume were thinking when this picture was taken.

From My Cold, Dead, Demotivated Hands

After Shea's revelation that Katie has a newly acquired penchant for firearms, I thought it would be appropriate to do a gun-themed series of demotivators (with one special bonus).  So, here they are...enjoy.

And lastly...the special bonus.
This is an advertisement that the Church paid to have inserted into programs for that "Book of Mormon" show on Broadway...isn't it awesome?

Katie is now a gun chick!

For those who never thought they'd see the day (including me), I thought I'd post some pictures from the TWO shooting trips Katie has went on so far :)

Katie and an AK-47

Katie's reactions to bigger caliber guns are always fun!

Katie's favorite gun: a 12 Gauge Remington 870.
Katie is good at hitting clay pigeons

Katie during her first shooting trip with an M-4 style .22 caliber.

Learning on a Ruger 10/22

Shooting a .380 secret agent type pistol!

A Buckmark .22 target pistol

 The World War II Mosin-Nagant

(Katie is way tough...this rifle has a steel plate buttstock and kicks like a mule!)

 A .357 Magnum with .38 Special rounds.

Classic Katie!

Enjoy Your Demotivators

I said I would do a better job at posting every week, and here's proof that I'm a man of my word.  Here's the latest batch of demotivators, I hope all of you enjoy it.

I'm very grateful that nothing like this happened at the Iron Maiden concert.

This last one is a question I, sadly, often ask myself.
