Tombstone

The two fellow soldiers who went with me, Privates Peacock (left) and Jaramillo.
Boothill's security.

This is a memorial dedicated to veterans and pioneers.

Boothill Cemetary.

Deep, isn't it?

Great view.

I wish that I could have the guy who thought this up write my epitaph.

A couple of Kansas Kids.

Lunch at the Six Gun Saloon, I'm downing a Sarsprilla

A few pictures from a tour we took of an old Silver Mine.

A great view from a saloon by the mine.

We watched some gunfight reenactments.

I look kind of like the Terminator in this picture.

Jaramillo with a newfound friend.

Peacock looks nice, Jaramillo not so much.

Jaramillo outside an old brothel.

The Birdcage Theatre

The interior.

One of several bullet holes inside the Birdcage.

A neat old music box inside the Birdcage.

The scene of the gunfight at the O.K. Corral.

Another view.

I took this as we were leaving, it would've been great if it had been at sunset.

Class A Uniform

Dad is the only one who's seen me in my Class A uniform, I thought that some more of you (especially Mom) would like to see me in it.

Lucy's Blessing

Here we are at Fort Riley immediately following Lucy's blessing (she screamed during the entire blessing so we're afraid that she is spiritually disinclined like her father). In the one on top, Lucy is the one so swathed in white that she is blinding everyone else and is impossible to see. The wind was also howling as it usually does out here on the plains. Plenty more photos where these came from - I'm just too lazy to post them. Word.

Pat and Nancy's visit

Um, these photos are out of order, I don't quite have Steve's knack for posting in an orderly fashion
