Delayed Demotivators

The past two Saturdays I've been away from my laptop and wasn't able to post my Demotivators. I was away again this past Saturday but have the day off today, so here's the latest batch. I hope you enjoy them and I always appreciate feedback.

Well, once again I have messed up the photo sequence--this was supposed to be the sign out shot, saying we were on our way to the 3D IMAX show of John Carter (it was AWESOME! gotta see it). Right after we took this photo and headed off to the cars we ran into some Iowa wrestlers who'd not made the finals--national championship was that day and only 3 Iowa guys had qualified; they said it looked like Penn State was going to win the tournament this year. When Mom mentioned she worked with a Banach they all about kissed the ground she was standing on.

Took this one just as we survived the trip to the top of the arch--Steve was getting pumped for the IMAX show I think; either that or practicing for his Iron Maiden concert in August.

A shot of the Mississippi and one of the first bridges spanning it, built in early 19th century, and a modern horse cart. Steve was the only one of us who remembered to wear green so we decided to stay even closer to him than usual (it was St Patrick's Day; yes, I am ashamed I didn't remember).

This is a shot from the little observation place at the top of the arch--fortunately the mist burned off by the time we got to the top so we watched the St Patrick's Day runners finishing. The ride up was an experience--5 adults crammed into a little pod with a 4-foot high door, and one of our passengers was a little claustrophobic (not the optimal pod companion).

When we got to the arch it was misted over by fog off the river and it was an awesome sight to see it just sort of disappear into the mist. It was a great day we got to spend with Steve before his birthday on Sunday--we all had to head home Saturday, but we had a great time Friday sharing Steve's birthday cake and some NCAA tournament games.  Happy Birthday this week to Steve and Dave--got to call Dave, but we'll have to work out a late way to see him for his birthday along with Wendy and (now crawling!) Oakley.
Ya'll be excellent to each other.
Love, Mom and Dad
Pat and Nancy,  a couple videos of C opening up your b-day gifts.  WE loved the gifts, thank you so much.  The sea creatures puzzle we already have, it's a favorite with the girls, but some of the pieces are missing so they are pumped for the new one!  Thanks for your thoughtfulness!  I have more video and pics at http://benandmarindashaha.blogspot.com

Emotivatordays

Hello all, I don't have a great introduction today so I'll just jump right into this week's installment of Demotivating comedy goodness. Enjoy.

I love the Monkey's face in that one.

If this isn't in the top ten greatest Demotivators of all-time, then you and I have very different tastes in that area.

SROTAVITOMED

First off I have to say that I'm disappointed nobody chose to share in the epic awesomeness that was my previous blog post...but I guess that's because you're all just jealous of where I'm going to be on the 1st of August. Here's that latest batch of Demotivators, I hope you enjoy them and I always love to read feedback.

That's what you get for parking in a no-parking zone.
I don't know what that kid did, but I'd be willing to bet he never even thinks about doing it again.
Wouldn't the above scene have been awesome in any of the Indy movies?
