Hello family and anyone else who may be reading this, here is the latest batch of Demotivators. I hope you enjoy them and any feedback is very much appreciated. Take care and let's hope that next year the Super Bowl halftime show will go back to great bands like two years ago when The Who rocked the party.

And the one below demonstrates why if a certain someone is the Republican nominee I may vote Democrat for the first time, or possibly skip the ballot.

Well all, here's the latest batch of Demotivators. I hope you like them, in any case comments are always welcomed. Bon apetite.

For those of you who aren't familiar with the term, "cosplay" means "costumed roleplayers". They're the types of people you see at Sci-fi or Anime conventions dressed as favorite characters.
I don't know why it says Michigan, but this is one of the best Demotivators I've seen in a long time.
This last one is mainly for Ben.

The good 49er game

I realize I'm a week late, but check out this fan reaction when the 49ers beat the Saints. Pretty sweet.

They Let You Down AND Build You Up...DEMOTIVATORS!!!

Hello all, sorry that these are a day late but here's the latest batch of Demotivators for your viewing pleasure. I hope you enjoy, and please feel free to comment and let me know how I'm doing on this.

I wonder if Dad will be like this in another decade or so (ha ha ha).
It's comforting to know the sentiment expressed in this next one (I didn't like the caption much though).
I wonder if this next one brings back any specific memories for Mom, or any of the other Mothers viewing these for that matter.
And this last one needs no explanation (I really hope this picture is doctored).

Greetings from the Bowels of America

Well, seems the blog has changed posting procedures, but will see if I can get it right. We sure enjoyed having Steve and Joe and David and their families home for Christmas (after the fact) for a few days . . . and we really missed seeing you all then but are so grateful to you all for spending Vet's Day with us.
Gramma and Grampa Shaha send their love. Pat got to spend a week with them while he healed up from some hand surgery. Remember them in your prayers if you can--they're looking forward to the Reunion which is reportedly 20-22 July at Draper--let's hear it for Draper Days! (more to come on the Reunion)

While there I got to visit Shea and Katie and Natalie and Jack--all are well and it was great seeing them. Also got to spend time with Steve and Stacy but neglected to get photos. Also called Bob and word is Karlie is getting married 19 May in Mesa Temple--more to come, I think.

And today we zipped down to harrass Joe and Bethany for lunch--we had a great time catching up and chasing Lucy and Hailey around the shoe store. Sometime in the near future Nancy and Pat will be ceasing work and initiating sloth and travel pursuits.

Love to you all, and you're all always in our prayers. And Caroline, I have a cast on my arm too! Love, Grampa

Demotivators

Hello family. I still feel like a Robinson Crusoe of sorts out here in Fort Campbell, but optimism has come back into the swing of things and I'm looking forward to getting out of the Army and am doing all I can to transition smoothly back to life outside of active duty. But for now, here's my contribution to the family blog...enjoy.

This next one is in honor of the re-release of Disney's "Beauty and the Beast."

Weekly Demotivators

I apologize for not having a more witty introduction for this batch, but here's the latest weekly dose of Demotivators. I hope all of you enjoy them, and remember that I always love to read comments.

I wonder why Dante didn't include this next bit in Inferno.

Happy New Year

Here we are in 2012, as the Coen brothers once penned "old big daddy Earth is getting ready to take another trip around the Sun." To commemorate the beginning of Big Daddy Earth's latest trip, here is a quintet of Demotivators to ring in the new year.

I think this next guy partied a little too hard on New Years Eve.
Katie's old Douglas Fir thing could be related to this next guy.
This is the real reason Dad is so averse to Facebook and social networks in general.

Hello family. I hope that all of you are either having a wonderful holiday break with family and/or friends or gearing up for said holiday festivities. Here's an early Christmas present from me to all of you, five good Demotivators. By way of explanation for this first one, Ben asked me if I've seen "Breaking Dawn", and after I retched at the thought of seeing that movie I thought of this poster. Below is the only way I'd voluntarily see that movie, or any other Twilight for that matter.

Those Greeks are sitting on a gold mine and don't even know it.

UPS should have a guy like this.

Hey family, I'm sorry for the delay in this post but I received an important assignment on Saturday from Mom and Dad during the FAMILY CONFERENCE CALL THAT THE REST OF YOU FLAKED OUT ON!!! They asked me to go to The Muppets and tell them what I thought of it. Incidentally all of you should go see The Muppets as it's very entertaining and a real treat for anyone who ever watched and loved The Muppet Show. That having been said, here come the demotivators.

This one sure brought back memories.
