De-layed De-motivators

It's been a while since I've posted, and since I haven't heard any "good riddance" kinds of messages I will take this opportunity to post some demotivators.  So, here's the latest batch, I hope all of you enjoy.

I know that the Shaha men at least will appreciate this last one.

Upping the Irons

As several of you may know, my three all-time favorite bands are Led Zeppelin, Iron Maiden, and The Clash.  I will never get to see Led Zeppelin or The Clash in concert due to the fact that John Bonham and Joe Strummer have passed away.  However, Iron Maiden is still going strong and touring the world.  And on August 1st...I got to see the best band in the world do what it does best.

Some of the guys in front of me had this awesome banner.
This is Coheed and Cambria, they had the second-least enviable task in music...opening for Iron Maiden (the least-enviable task would be following them).

Here's Maiden's crew setting up for the main event.
 I'm getting pumped.
 Iron Maiden takes the stage.
This is Adrian Smith, he's my favorite guitarist in the band.
Buried behind his wall of drums is Nicko McBrain.
That's Steve Harris, the bassist and founding member of the band, on the right.
That's Dave Murray on the left, he and Adrian are like the dynamic duo of awesome guitar work.
Ladies and gentleman...the greatest singer in the world...Bruce Dickinson.
This is Jannick Gers, the third guitarist of the group.
A nice one of Dave Murray.

This is the best picture I could get of when they played my favorite song of theirs, "The Trooper", the whole place went nuts.
Check out the decorations for "Number of the Beast," pretty cool, huh?
Eddie, their mascot, came out during "Run to the Hills."
 It was freaking awesome.
Eddie looms over Nicko, during the performance of "Seventh Son of a Seventh Son."
The greatest guitar attack in all of music \m/
Eddie making his big appearance during the song "Iron Maiden."
Their first encore was "Aces High", how freaking awesome is that?!
Proof that there actually is a real guy behind the drums...Nicko McBrain makes an appearance during "Running Free."
Me right after the concert, still aglow from the awesomeness.
Back at Katie's with the awesome souvenir shirt I bought.

I worry that everything else I experience in life is going to be a real downer after this.
UP THE IRONS \m/

Demotivators

I'm going to apologize in advance as I will not be posting next week due to being at the Shaha family reunion in Draper.  Hopefully, this latest batch of demotivational gems will hold all interested parties over...enjoy.

And this last one is dedicated to what I am sure will happen to "The Amazing Spider-Man" at the box office when "The Dark Knight Rises" opens on Friday.

Delayed Demotivators

Sorry for the delays in posting, I could bore you with excuses or get on to the posters...guess which option I'm going with.  Enjoy, and check out the bonus after the posters.

This next one is a tribute to the weather we've been having in Kansas.

And here's a link to my belated contribution to Independence Day.  Take care everybody, and God bless the United States of America.

Irish Soccer Fans

The Irish got demolished in the first round of the Euro Cup, but the Spaniards got chills listening to Irish fans sing their team off the field to "The Fields of Athenry." There's a great article in Sports Illustrated about it.
